Story
The incarnation of the curse itself. It is said that the forest is alive. Not only are trees and animals alive, but the forest as a whole is also alive. The forest enjoys the abundance of life at dawn, but at dusk it begins to work. To find and remove poisons that attack the roots and make the next day brighter. Those who wander into this ecosystem after sunset should pray that their souls are pure. If you are not clean, you will be made clean. Those who have lost their way should be careful. The forest gives what it can give and takes what it can take away, regardless of the reason.
A hideous composite spirit created from the souls of children lost in the forest is no longer just a spirit. It has turned into a powerful curse that seeks out anyone willing to exchange the soul of a dead child for the soul of a living person.
Its original habitat appears to be the upper levels of the dungeon. It imitates the laughter of children to lull adventurers into a false sense of security, traps them in trees, and steals their bodies.
"If you hear children playing in the dungeon, move in the opposite direction if you don't want your soul taken away."
